The Nigerian Army says it has recorded a major breakthrough in the fight against kidnapping in Edo State, following the killing of three suspected kidnappers and the rescue of an abducted 44-year-old man in Sasaro Forest, Akoko Edo Local Government Area.

The operation involved a joint team of security agencies, local hunters, and forest guards.
