The Police in Zamfara State have arrested seven suspected killers of Sheikh Abubakar Hassan Mada, who was murdered after taking him to an unknown destination in the pretext of answering some questions.
Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Dalijan paraded the suspects in Gusau the state capital.
Dalijan said the Police arrested Kabiru who was one of the terrorists that tacked Kasuwar-Daji where they burnt a police operational vehicle and attacked the residence of a former Chairman of the state branch of the National Union of Road Transport Workers.
He said the police also arrested two suppliers of ammunition to one terrorist kingpin Bashari, who has been operating in the Shinkafi and Kaura Namoda axis of Zamfara State.
The Zamfara State Police Commissioner assured residents of the state that the Police will charge the suspects to court for diligent prosecution to ensure justice and to serve as a deterrent to others.
