Fifteen recipients have been bestowed with the 2024 Niger Delta Prestigious Peace Award.

The colourful ceremony which was held at the prestige Hotel in Benin City attracted dignitaries from within and outside the state including the Chief Medical Director of Igbinedion University Teaching Hospital and Deputy Vice- Chancellor, Igbinedion University, Okada, Professor Godwin Nosakhare Basuaye who was one of the award recipients.
