Efforts to strengthen security infrastructure in Amagba Community, Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State, will receive a boost as Senator representing Edo South, Neda Imasuen, in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, Edo State Command, prepares for the foundation stone laying of a new police station.
The ceremony is scheduled for Friday, October second, at twelve noon in Amagba Community.
The project, facilitated by Senator Imasuen, is aimed at bringing policing services closer to residents of Amagba and neighbouring communities, while improving security response in the area.
Edo State Commissioner of Police, Patrick Daaor, is expected to join the Senator at the ceremony.
Community leaders, security stakeholders and residents are expected to attend the groundbreaking, which will mark the formal commencement of the project.
