In line with the Benin cultural calendar, festivities were held on Saturday at the Palace of the Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare the Second, to commemorate the Ugie Emorho, also known as the New Yam Festival.
