For some time now, public and private property across Edo State have continued to come under attack by suspected scavengers, with valuable facilities carted away.

The latest incident occurred at New Era College, Benin City on Saturday where over six air-conditioners were allegedly stolen.

However, Prompt intervention by the Edo State Public Property Protection Committee and the State Scrap Regulatory and Monitoring Team led to the arrest of some suspects.
