Kanta National Museum in Argungu, Kebbi State, has been described as an ancestral and background history of Kabawa people traced back to the year 1515.

The Curator of the Museum, Suleiman Namande, in an exclusive interview with ITV News in Argungu, traced the origin of Kabawa people of Argungu to Surami.
