The Nigerian government reducing control and handing more business responsibilites to the private sector for over forty years remains the reason unemployment is high and economic growth does not match expectations.

This was the view of the Keynote speaker, Sir, Chief, Lawson OmoKhodion, during the Founder’s Day Lecture of Independent Television .and Radio, where he called for a balanced partnership between the public and private sectors to drive Nigeria’s economic direction.
