The Edo State Independent Electoral Commission has drawn the attention of the general Public, Political Parties, and all Stakeholders that it has published the final list of candidates for the forthcoming Edo State Local Government Council Elections scheduled for 11th July, 2026.

The Acting Secretary of EDSIEC, Mr Abebe Emmanuel, on behalf of the Chairman Sir Jonathan Aifuobhokhan said in Statement in Benin City that the publication follows the conclusion of the period allowed for the withdrawal and substitution of candidates.
