Independent Television and Radio has been commended for its role in promoting inclusion and advancing the welfare of persons with disabilities, as Edo State Commission for Persons with Disabilities seeks to strengthen collaboration with the station.

The commission made the commendation during a courtesy visit to the management of Independent Television and Radio at its corporate headquarters in Benin City, alongside officers and men of the Federal Fire Service, Zone G, who also visited the station.
