The Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria, BON, has raised concerns over the rising cost of operating radio and television stations in the country.
The organisation says soaring energy costs, expensive broadcast equipment and mounting economic pressures are threatening the sustainability of the industry.
BON made the submission at its 82nd General Assembly in Calabar, with the theme, “Broadcast Media – Bedrock of Democratic and Economic Advancement in Nigeria.”
