A non-governmental organisation, Heapreer People’s Developmental Initiative, has mandated its members to sensitise the people on the significance of World Poverty Day, which is held every 17th of October.

The group took their sensitisation to the Edo State House of Assembly, the State Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, and the Edo State Government House.
