As the world marks the International Day of Peace, also known as World Peace Day, stakeholders in Benin City are calling for collective efforts, fairness and equal development to promote lasting peace in society.

With this year’s theme, “Invest in Peace: For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day,” the day highlights the need to make peace a daily responsibility and not just a once a year celebration.
