The University of Benin, in collaboration with the West African Association for Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies, WAACLALS, has hosted the 2026 International Conference at its Ekehuan Campus.

The gathering drew scholars, delegates, and students from within and outside the University to discuss the impact of technology, digital humanities, and artificial intelligence on African scholarship and society.
