The arrest of some serving and dismissed police officers of the Edo State Police Command, alongside civilians involved in a coordinated criminal syndicate responsible for serious crimes including abduction and extortion, has been commended by residents.

They say the latest action by the police has brought a sense of relief and renewed confidence, while also calling for sustained efforts to tackle illegal activities.
