A cross-section of Nigerians have made passionate appeals to the Federal Government to urgently find a permanent solution to the harsh effects of oil subsidy removal instead of the recent 30-day discount on petrol dispensed in designated NNPCL stations.
The respondents observed that the hardship Nigerians are facing requires better strategies, among which are improved local refining of petroleum products, revitalizing the nation’s ailing refineries, and a total overhaul of the distribution network.
