Natives of Evbolekpen Community in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State have congratulated His Royal Majesty, Ewuare the Second, Oba of Benin, on the occasion of his tenth Coronation anniversary celebration.
The natives in a congratulatory message signed by the Enogie of Evbolekpen, His Royal Highness, Ambassador Festus Osagiede Ayeki, Okiaghele, Ambassador Osazee Izevbigie, and Secretary, Osaro Okoro, said the celebration is particularly grand as it coincides with His Royal Majesty’s birthday anniversary, making it a double celebration.
They said since Oba Ewuare II assumed the throne of his forebears, Edo State and the Benin Kingdom in general have experienced peace, progress and development.
They particularly commended the Benin Monarch’s effort in championing the return of the Benin Artefacts, which have started to yield positive results.
While praying to God and the ancestors to continue to grant Oba Ewuare the Second wisdom to lead his subjects, the natives of Evbolekpen Community reaffirmed their unalloyed loyalty to the Benin Monarch and wished him more peaceful and eventful years on the throne.
