Independent Television and Radio has been described as a reliable and objective media organisation that has consistently supported creativity, public enlightenment and promotion of copyright awareness in Edo and Delta States.

The commendation came during a courtesy visit by the Musical Copyright Society Nigeria, MCSN, Edo and Delta State Chapter, to the management of the Station at the corporate headquarters, Glass House, Airport Road, Benin City.
