The leadership of Iduhen Uroho Community in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State has called on prospective developers to come forward for verification of their landed property.
A statement personally signed by the Odionwere of the community, Pa. Vincent E. Osakwue, Elders, as well as Okhaighele Ambassador Osagie Omoregie, says that after an enlarged meeting, community leaders decided that there was a need to curb insecurity as invaders hide in undeveloped land and properties to unleash terror on members of the community.
The leaders thereafter resolved that there was a crucial need to verify and know the owners of such undeveloped land and properties.
The statement adds that Uroho Community is peace-loving and does not involve itself in violence, and consequently asked landowners to come for verification, pointing out that the verification exercise commences from Tuesday, the 5th of May 2026, from 9 am to 4 pm daily at Iduhen Town Hall of the community.
The leaders say the verification exercise will last for three months, starting from the date of the announcement.
