Efforts to improve access and address security concerns in communities affected by erosion and bad roads have received a boost in Edo State, following the completion of the reclamation of a major gully and reconstruction of the Iwogban-Ute road axis in Benin City.

Residents of the area say the intervention has transformed a once-deplorable stretch of road which had become difficult to access and, according to them, a source of security concerns.
