The Governor Of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has announced a New minimum wage of Seventy thousand Naira for state workers effective from May 1st, 2024 assuring of necessary adjustment if the federal government offers something higher.

Obaseki stated this during the inauguration of the Edo State Labour House at Ikpoba Hill, Benin City named after a former NLC President and former Governor of the state.
