The Diocese of Benin, Anglican Communion, has called on parents, particularly mothers, to prioritise the spiritual and moral upbringing of their children, stressing that instilling Christian values from an early age is essential to building a responsible and morally upright society.

The call was made at the 2026 Diocesan Women’s Guild Conference held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 92, Second East Circular Road, Benin City, Edo State.
