A Federal High Court in Benin, presided over by Professor Chuka Obizor, has sacked Uyi OMOSIGHO as the National Democratic Party (NDC) candidate and declared Honourable Omo-Osagie Efosa, popularly known as Mighty Man, the authentic candidate for Oredo Federal Constituency.

The judgement also kicked against what it described as the frustration INEC always portrays during pre-election cases.

Efosa Uwangue reports that the judge also addressed the issue of internal mechanisms for resolving party primary crises, as they could be used to delay and frustrate aggrieved aspirants.
