Tragedy has struck in Ekpoma, Edo State, as a fast food restaurant owner, Mr. Justin Otene, was shot dead by suspected kidnappers on Saturday night.

The incident, which occurred at about 9 p.m. at his residence in Idumebo Quarters, has sparked tension across the community.

Edo Central Correspondent, Chris Omijie, reports that the killing has heightened fears among residents and nearly led to a protest.
