Property worth millions of naira, including vehicles, food items and other goods, has been destroyed by fire at Oluku Market and its environs along the Benin-Lagos Express Road.

The inferno, which reportedly followed an explosion involving a fallen petrol tanker, left traders in tears as they counted their losses.

Ikponmwosa Ugiagbe reports.
