The immediate Past Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has described the death of an Elder Statesman, Dr. Clement Imuetinyan Alile, a Former Secretary to the Government of Edo State during the Administration of Chief Odigie Oyegun, as not only a great loss to the immediate Family but to the entire state and Nigeria.

His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Obaseki in a Condolence message he personally signed says it is with a heavy heart and profound sense of loss that he mourns the passing of his dear uncle, Dr. Clement Imuetinyan Alile whom he referred to as an extraordinary man, whose life was defined by service, excellence, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of the state and nation.

The Former Governor says the passing of the Former SSG leaves a void that cannot be filled and urged the Family and others to take solace in the enduring legacy he left behind, a legacy of excellence, service, and impact.

Obaseki recalled that Dr. Alile, a proud scion of the Ogbeide-Oyo family, was a distinguished veterinary surgeon and a pioneer in the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Veterinary Department and through his dedication and visionary leadership, he laid a solid foundation for veterinary medicine practice, setting standards that continue to inspire generations of professionals.

The Former Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki extends his deep condolences to the Alile family, friends, and associates praying that the Almighty God grant his soul eternal rest and give all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
