The Celebration of Nigeria at 66 took a historic dimension in Okada, the headquarters of Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State as the Esama of Benin and Honorary Romanian Consul to Edo and Delta States, His Excellency, Sir, Chief, Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, hosted natives and residents of Okada Community at the Okada Town Hall, as part of activities marking Nigeria’s Independence Anniversary.

Pius Nsogho reports that it was a day of love, culture and uncommon reverence for the nonagenarian, who has become an institution.
