His Imperial Majesty, Iku Baba Yeye, Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade, the 46th Alaafin of Oyo Empire, has arrived in the ancient city of Benin.

The Alaafin, who spoke with Pius Nsogho on arrival at the Benin Airport, said the visit is to celebrate his bosom friend, the Esama of Benin and Honorary Romanian Consul to Edo and Delta States of Nigeria, His Excellency, Sir Chief Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, on his 92nd birthday.
