A former Secretary to the Edo state government under Governor Lucky Igbinedion’s administration, and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has declared his intention to contest for the Edo South senatorial district seat at the National Assembly.

The declaration was made before several leaders across the local government areas of Edo South at the residence of a former deputy governor of Edo state, Dr. Pius Odubu, in Benin City
