EDO State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved a minor Cabinet reshuffle involving the redeployment of some Commissioners, as part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen governance, enhance service delivery, and promote greater efficiency in the management of State affairs.

In a statement, the Secretary to Edo State Government, Musa Ikhilor, Esquire, says with the new arrangement, Doctor Felix Ehiguese Akhabue is moved from the Ministry of Water Resources to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, while Barrister Vincent Osas Uwadiae moves from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development to the Ministry of Water Resources.

Honourable Andrew Momodu is deployed from the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy to the Ministry of Oil and Gas Resources, while Professor Omorodion Ikponmwosa moves from the Ministry of Oil and Gas Resources to the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.

According to the statement, the redeployment takes immediate effect.

The Executive Governor enjoins the affected Commissioners to bring their wealth of experience and expertise to bear in their respective new portfolios and to remain committed to the Administration’s SHINE Agenda for the sustainable development of Edo State.
