Stakeholders in Benin city have called on the recently constituted Edo state consumer Protection Committee to place the interests of Edo residents at the center of their decisions and work collaboratively to achieve tangible results.
The call followed the increasing rate of unwholesome products such as, Foods, powdered milk, juices and snacks which life span has exceeded their expiration dates.
Others are Contaminated bottled water, fake dairy drinks, and illegally brewed or packaged alcoholic beverages sold in markets across the state.
