The Academic Staff Union of Universities has been urged to see itself not only as a union fighting for academic welfare but also as a union fighting for democratic accountability and national transformation.
The Keynote Speaker and a former president of ASUU, Professor Attahiru Jega, gave the advice while speaking on the Role of ASUU In Nation Building In Nigeria, during the Union’s Twenty-third National Delegates Conference, held at the University of Benin.
