The need for medical laboratory scientists to embrace innovative, cost-effective and environmentally responsible approaches in the diagnostic process has been emphasised by Resource Persons at the 2026 International Biomedical Laboratory Science Day organised by the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) UBTH Chapter.

The commemoration earlier featured an awareness Rally across critical departments of the UBTH on health education and distribution of information materials to residents.
