The University of Benin has admitted Fifteen Thousand, Seventy-seven students into the various faculties and programmes at the 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony, with an advice for them to shun all forms of distractions in the course of their academic pursuit.

Pius Nsogho reports that the University community was agog as the ceremony witnessed a large crowd of matriculants, parents and guardians.
