The Executive Chairman, Government, and the good people of Uhunmwode Local Government Area have expressed deep sadness over the death of a distinguished elder statesman, Hon. Charles Ekhoerutomwen Idahosa, JP, fondly known as Charlie Temple.
The Acting Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Hon. Austin Imafidon, described the late elder statesman as a rare public servant and an exemplary leader who devoted his life to the service of humanity and the development of Uhunmwode Local Government Area and Nigeria at large.
Hon. Charles Idahosa served meritoriously as Former Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Council, Former Commissioner in Edo State, Former Special Adviser to the Government of Edo State, and Former Member of the Nigerian Railway Board.
His demise has thrown Uhunmwode Local Government Area into a profound state of mourning. His wisdom, guidance, and invaluable contributions to governance and community development will be sorely missed.
