The Acting Executive Chairman of Oredo Local Government Council, Honourable Gabriel Iduseri, on behalf of himself and the staff of the council, has felicitated with the Benin Monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare The Second, on the commencement of the Ugie Festival, billed for December 14, 2025.
In a statement, the Acting Executive Chairman, while wishing the highly revered father a successful celebration, expressed optimism that the Ugie Festival period will be used by the ancestors to usher peace into the land.
He noted that the prestigious festival will further promote unity within Edo State and Nigeria at large, as well as strengthen the bond among the people.
The Acting Executive Chairman also prayed that the Ugie Festival will bring more blessings and renewed strength to the state.
