The Odionwere, Council of Elders, and the entire people of Ugbayon Community in Uhunmwonde Local Government Area of Edo State have appealed to the Benin Monarch, His Royal Majesty Oba Ewuare II CFR, to intervene and reaffirm the historical autonomy of the community.
The Ugbayon people also called on the Edo State Government to be wary of attempts by certain individuals to destabilize the peaceful coexistence of the community and to ensure that government agencies are not misled by fraudulent claims.
