Tragedy was narrowly averted Wednesday morning when a windstorm brought down a large tree from the Ogba Zoo premises, landing on a section of a building at the Edo State Scouts Camp along Airport Road in Benin City.

Jolaade Ojo reports that, fortunately, no lives were lost. Still, the Scouts Association is now urging the Edo State government to take urgent action to address the persistent risks posed by trees within the Ogba zoo located close to the Scouts camp.
