An unusual situation has been reported on Chris Merry Street, off Textile Mill Road in Benin City, Edo State, where tenants are crying out after the roof of their apartment was allegedly removed by a new landlord.

The tenants say the action followed their inability to vacate the building after being issued a one-month quit notice, leaving their property exposed to heavy rainfall, which caused significant damage.
