A Federal High Court in Benin City on Friday declined ruling over its jurisdiction to determine whether Edo State House of Assembly and the Governor of Edo State Senator Monday Okpebholo has the power to suspend Chairmen of the eighteen local government and their Deputies

The Court subsequently affirmed that Edo State High Court is the appropriate court to determine the subject.
