As part of its ongoing education reform drive, the Edo State Government through the Senior Secondary Education Board (SSEB)—has continued its statewide monitoring and evaluation exercise across all 18 local government areas.
The initiative is aimed at ensuring a smooth and transparent promotional examination process in public secondary schools.
However, during one of the inspection visits, a disturbing case of mismanagement and child labour was uncovered at Inu Umoru Memorial College in Owan East Local Government Area.
