Chelsea And Benfica Secure Qualification To Champions League Quarter-Finals


Chelsea overcame a first-leg deficit against Borussia Dortmund to reach the Champions League quarter-finals with two goals to one aggregate score.

Raheem Sterling made the breakthrough after forty-three minutes, then Kai Havertz settled the tie from the penalty spot eight minutes after the break as he fired past Dortmund keeper Alexander Meyer.

In the other game, Benfica emphatically beat Club Bruges, five goals to one to secure their place in the Champions League quarter-finals with an aggregate score of seven goals to one.

Goals from Rafa Silva, Joao Mario, David Neres, and a brace from Goncalo Ramos completed the scoring for the Portuguese side.
