The President of the Tenth Nigerian Senate, Godswill Obot Akpabio, has inaugurated 30 tractors, 5 bulldozers, and other farm machinery procured by the Senator Monday Okpebholo–led administration, as part of renewed efforts to reform and reposition Edo State’s agricultural sector.
The commissioning of the equipment follows the earlier ₦70 billion budgetary allocation to the State Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security in the 2024 Appropriation Act.
