Member representing Ovia North-East and Ovia South-West Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Omosede Gabriella Igbinedion, has condemned the reported cases of sexual harassment of young girls during a recent festival in Ozoro, Delta State.

She described the acts as disturbing, unacceptable, and a violation of human dignity.

The lawmaker stressed that cultural events should promote unity and heritage, not expose women and girls to abuse.

Rt. Hon. Igbinedion called on security agencies to investigate the incidents and ensure perpetrators are brought to justice.

She also urged community leaders and event organizers to strengthen safety measures to protect women and girls at public gatherings.
