The Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara says there has been remarkable achievement within two years of his administration in education, healthcare, infrastructure, youth empowerment, human capital development and inclusion of women in governance.

Sir Fubara, who was not suspended by President Bola Tinubu and no state of emergency declared in Rivers State, made the remarks on the occasion of the Second anniversary of his administration.

Sir Fubara stated that as the Seventh democratically elected Governor of Rivers State, he has remained steadfast and focused, guided by the oath he took and the solemn promise he made to always put Rivers State first.

He pointed out that despite the daunting political challenges faced in the past two years, he is proud of the visible milestones achieved so far.

Sir Fubara restated his pledge to promote peace, improve security and socio-economic advancement of Rivers State.

While reflecting on the lessons of the past two years, Sir Fubara says he looks forward to working hand in hand with critical stakeholders to build a State all can be proud of, that stands as a model for the rest of Nigeria.
