Fresh concerns have been raised over the resurgence of cult-related killings in parts of Benin City, following recent security raids that have drawn community youth leaders into the center of investigations by the Edo State Government through its special security task force.
The development, which led to the issuance of a seven-day ultimatum to three Youth Leaders, also known as Okiagheles, to report themselves for questioning, as well as the arrest of several suspected cult members, has renewed calls for safety by residents.
