Despite prevailing security challenges, the Sokoto State Universal Basic Education Board has directed all public primary and junior secondary schools to resume for the second term on Monday, January 5, 2026.
SUBEB Chairman, Umar Nagwari Tambuwal, assured parents that measures have been put in place to ensure safety and smooth academic activities.
He urged stakeholders to cooperate and disclosed that special monitoring teams would be deployed across the state’s three senatorial zones.
