The Odionwere, Pa Roland Aimuamwonsa Oyemwense and Elders – in -council have announced Mr Idahosa Nosakhare as the new Okaighele of Obazuwa community in Ovia North East local government area, Edo State
In a statement signed by the Odionwere, the appointment was made after extensive and wide-reaching consultations with the elders and the people of Obazuwa community, whose approval was unanimous.
Mr. Idahosa Nosakhare was chosen based on his proven track record of unblemished integrity, exceptional humility and loyalty to the community as well as keen dedication to the traditions and customs of Benin Kingdom.
The Odionwere and elders offered prayer that the ancestors of Obazuwa community continue to grant Mr. Idahosa Nosakhare with wisdom and strength in his new assignment.
The statement explains that the appointment takes immediate effect and all relevant authorities, security agencies, and the public have been urged to take note and accord Mr. Nosakhare the necessary cooperation required for the discharge of his duties.
