Residents of erosion-prone areas in Benin City, including Second Cemetery Road, have renewed their appeal to the Edo State Government to come to their aid following the devastation caused by erosion menace, which was worsened by a heavy downpour on Tuesday morning.
The rainfall, which lasted several hours, rendered many roads impassable and obstructed socio-economic activities across the metropolis.
