As part of concerted efforts to maintain cleanliness and promote environmental sustainability, the acting Chairman of Akoko-Edo Local Government, Mr. Alabi Bliss Oshionogue, last Saturday joined hands with officials of the Environmental Department and other local leaders for the monthly environmental sanitation exercise.
The initiative follows a directive from the State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo to keep the environment clean and prevent flooding, pollution and outbreak of diseases.
